Empowering Rohingya Culture, Supporting Community

At CBRO, our mission is to:

• Unite the Community: Bringing together individuals of Burmese Rohingya origin in Ontario to build a strong, cohesive community.
• Preserve Culture: Safeguard and promote the unique traditions, languages, and customs of the Burmese Rohingya people.
• Educational and Cultural Events: Organize and sponsor literary, musical, and other cultural events, festivals, pageants, and conventions to celebrate and share our heritage.
• Support and Advocacy: Advocate for the interests of our members in Ontario and abroad, offering mutual aid and assistance whenever needed.
• Cultural Hub: Establish and maintain a center for cultural activities, providing a space for community gatherings, educational programs, and cultural exchange.

CBRO actively engages in a variety of initiatives to fulfill our mission:

• Cultural Celebrations: We host annual festivals, musical performances, and traditional pageants to keep our cultural practices alive.
• Educational Programs: Our educational events aim to teach and spread awareness about the history and traditions of the Burmese Rohingya community.
• Community Support: Through our support networks, we provide assistance to community members in need, fostering a sense of solidarity and mutual aid.
• Advocacy and Outreach: We work to raise awareness and advocate for the rights and well-being of the Burmese Rohingya people, both locally and internationally.
